Account Deletion
In the app
Open Profile → Delete my account. This opens a pre-filled email to our support team with your user ID. We verify ownership and delete within 30 days.
By email
Send a request from your registered email to support@spotmyseat.in with subject “Account deletion request”.
What is deleted
- Supabase authentication record
- Profile metadata stored on our platform
- Active chat participation (messages already expire after 72 hours)
What may be retained
- Completed booking and payment records required for tax, fraud prevention, and legal compliance (typically up to 7 years as required by law)
- Anonymized analytics aggregates with no personal identifiers
Organizer accounts
Organizer deletion requires settlement of pending payouts and transfer of active events. Contact support for assisted closure.
